Meeting City Housing Goals
Cottage Glen will contribute significantly to meeting Calistoga’s housing goals, many of which are detailed in the General Plan.
- The small town community character of Calistoga will be enhanced by the Cottage Glen neighborhood and house designs.
- The preferred plan will provide housing types (clustered, cottage-style) specifically encouraged by the General Plan.
- An objective of the General Plan to accommodate factory-built housing will be achieved.
- The jobs-housing balance will be improved.
- Progress will be made on mandated housing allocation goals.
- Progress will be made on a key housing goal of providing housing for all income segments while maintaining our rural small-town character and appearance.
Cottage Glen contributes to many other goals, objectives and actions for housing detailed in the General plan. It does not conflict with any.
